The reason I think fb is worse, is because: 1. It's someone you know. 2. If you disagree, you can be blocked and thereby silenced. So you have to make a choice to stay quiet or lose a "friend."Permalink On twitter.com

Twitter is slightly better, because you're opting into topics as well as people, so you can somewhat control the content you see.. plus conversations aren't easily silenced. You can be blocked, but that doesn't necessarily kill the conversation.Permalink On twitter.com
